I'm the missing package manager
for your startup

who I am

I love technology. I love startups. I write code.

I’ve spent the last 12 years working with technology; founding (growing & selling) companies, building software and working with inspirational entrepreneurs to help them realise their visions.

I understand technology and software development inside-out, but most importantly I understand its place in a startup company.

what I can do for you

You have an idea.

An idea that you know can become the next Uber, the next Airbnb or the next Facebook.

You need some technical help.

Advice, development, a website, an app or even disaster recovery. I’m here to help.

I’m not just a developer.

I'll join you, and provide the technical experience and expertise to help you realise your vision. The tehnical knowledge and capability, executed with an acute awareness for the challenges that you face as a startup.

why I do it

I love startups. The thrill of doing something new, of forging your own path, creating something from scratch and making a change in the world is one of the most exciting things that anyone can do.

I only work with companies that I believe in. Companies where I have faith in the idea and faith in the team executing the idea.

It might sound picky, but should we ultimately work together, you’ll have confidence that I am doing it for more than money. That I believe in your business and your idea just as much as you do, and that I am fully invested in making it a reality.

how much does it cost

If I like your idea, if I like you and your team, I’ll work for free.

I’ve been in your shoes before, more than once. Cash is in short supply...people, skills and hard graft is in high demand.

I’m here to help you, not make it worse.

I’ll spend some time with you, commit to the job fully, and make sure that we can work together. You don’t have money to waste on someone that can’t do what they say they can, or that you can’t work with. jbrew comes risk-free.

I have no interest in charging fees that you can’t afford. I want to be able to do the work that excites me, to work with you, and do everything I can to help you succeed in the process.

I'm happy to take as little as 10% of my rate in cash.

Up to 90% can be paid for in equity, based on an agreed valuation of your company. Valuation is made easier if you have already had some funding, but possible whatever stage your’re at.
